History of the original Mojito
Once upon a time, English monarchy encourage pirates and corsairs to raid Spanish cities in the New World. One of these corsairs, Francis Drake, brought home cargo of Spanish treasure amounting to twice the Queen's annual income. The unofficial birthdate for the original Mojito is 1586 when Drake and his pirate pondered whether or not to seize the Aztec gold in Havana by sacking the city. Havana prepared for the onslaught, but Drake never attacked. His subordinate, Richard Drake, invented a cocktail known as the Draque, Drak or Drac.
Enjoyed by boaters with discriminating taste, the eBojito (Pirate’s Key Lime Mojito) is the ultimate cool in Florida.
